Refund Policy — CIRO Distribution

Overview

CIRO Distribution (“CIRO”, “we”, “us”) strives to provide high-quality digital music distribution and related services. Because our services are digital and often subscription-based, refund rules differ from physical goods and may also be affected by local consumer law. This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request them, and related procedures.

Your legal rights

Where applicable, consumers’ statutory rights (for example the EU/UK 14-day cooling-off/right to withdraw) take precedence over this policy.
• Under EU/UK law, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases.
• However, if you consent to immediate access to digital content or services at the time of purchase , you expressly waive your right to withdraw, and refunds will not apply once access has begun.
• CIRO will always comply with applicable consumer protection laws in the jurisdiction of purchase.

General refund eligibility

• Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date, unless a longer statutory right applies under local consumer law.
• Refunds are only considered if the purchased service has not been accessed, downloaded, or used in a way that constitutes delivery of the service.
• Subscription plans: if the subscription period has already started and the user has received service, refunds for the current billing period are generally not available.
• The only exception is where local law requires a pro-rata refund, in which case CIRO will follow the legal requirement.

Special cases — promotions, trials, and guarantees

• Free trials: unless otherwise stated, refunds are not applicable for time-limited free trials.
• Promotional purchases: refunds for promotional items may be handled on a case-by-case basis.
• Satisfaction guarantees: where CIRO advertises a specific satisfaction guarantee, the terms of that guarantee will override this general policy.

How to request a refund

To request a refund, email support@cirodistribution.com with:
• Your full name and account email
• Order ID / Transaction ID (from invoice)
• Date of purchase and product/plan name
• Clear reason and any supporting evidence (screenshots, error logs)
We will acknowledge receipt within 3 business days and generally provide a decision within 7 business days.

Refund processing

• If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
• The actual time for funds to appear depends on the payment provider and card issuer.
VAT/tax refunds (if applicable) are subject to the payment processor’s policy and local tax rules; additional documentation may be required.

Chargebacks & disputes

• Customers may initiate a chargeback with their bank even if a refund is issued.
• Chargebacks are handled by banks/acquirers and are outside CIRO’s direct control.
• CIRO will cooperate with payment processors to provide evidence in the event of a dispute.
• Note: merchants may incur chargeback fees; if abuse is detected, CIRO reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts.

Fraud, abuse, and repeated claims

• CIRO reserves the right to refuse refunds that appear fraudulent, abusive, or part of repeated misuse.
• In such cases, CIRO may suspend or terminate accounts and withhold funds pending investigation.

Non-transferability

Refunds will only be made to the original payer and are strictly non-transferable.

Changes to this policy

• CIRO may update this policy at any time.
• The version published on our website (and the “Last updated” date) is the authoritative version.
